Eva’s Obituary
Passed away on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at Lewisporte Health Centre, Lewisporte, Mrs. Eva Martin, age 101 years of Lewisporte.
Eva was predeceased by parents, Stephen and Elsie Hodder; husband Frank; siblings, Cealey Pilgrim Hayward, Leonard Allen Hodder, Donald Hodder, Mary Hodder and Baby Roland; sons-in-law, Jack Shearing, Clyde Penney and Frank Harrington; grandson, Joseph Harrington.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, Doris Penney, Bride Shearing, Fronie Harrington, Garfield (Pat) Martin, Roland (Valerie) Martin, Marina (Harvey) Coish, Ellroy Martin; grandchildren, Frank (Gail) Penney, Delores (Wayne) Chaffey, Brad (Heather) Penney, Angela Penney, Tonya Penney (Christopher White), Leon (Zelda) Shearing, Cecilia (Brian) Whiteway, Carol-ann (Cecil) Fudge, Doreen (Dave) James, Jerome Harrington, Geraldine (Terry) Beaten, Amanda Martin, Andrew (Kelsey) Martin, Colin Martin, Jason (Marlena) Martin, Gerard (Tiffany) Martin, Jennifer (Graham) Freake, Graham (Kayla) Coish; 32 great grandchildren, 21 great, great grandchildren; brother, Gordon (Mary) Hodder, and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte on Monday September 30th from 7-9PM and Tuesday October 1st from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. The Funeral Service will take place from The Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte on Wednesday, October 2nd at 2PM. Interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Salvation Army Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.
