Obituary of Ernest Adams
ADAMS William Ernest passed away peacefully with family by his side at St Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Sunday, September 8th 2019 in his 70th year. Dear husband of Doris, loving father of daughter Lindsay of Brantford, sons Sean (Marcus) of Etobicoke and Corey (Taylor) of Brantford. Survived by his mother Ramona Adams, siblings Heather (James) Snare of Port Dover, Timothy (Nancy) of Capreol and George (Bonnie) of London. Also numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Predeceased by his father William George Adams. Growing up in Capreol Ernest loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, boating and also motocross racing, biking. After marrying he moved to Port Dover where he worked as an industrial mechanic at Stelco. He loved to travel, cruising, was interested in the culinary arts and photography, His great sense of humour and storytelling abilities will be missed by all. Friends are invited to meet with family to share their memories of Ernest on Sunday Sept. 15,2019 from 11am to 2pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover 519-583-1530. A Service in the funeral home chapel will follow at 2pm. Rev Kathryn Vance officiating. For those wishing, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
