Pictou Landing First Nation: Eldridge George Livingstone, born March 23rd, 1932; age 87 of Pictou Landing First Nation passed away on Thursday, September 26th, 2019 in the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Jack) Livingstone. He was the beloved partner of the late Margaret Prosper.
Eldridge lived most of his life in Pictou Landing First Nation.
During his working life, Eldridge worked many years at a tire factory in Westville and 30 years as a taxi driver for Metro Mid Town/ Central Taxi, New Glasgow. He enjoyed mechanically fixing cars and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his daughter: Laura (Derek) Prosper; sons: Michael (Kelsey) John Prosper; Simon (Candace) Prosper, all of Pictou Landing First Nation; grandchildren: Avery, Emma and Addison; brothers: Glynn of Pincher Creek, Alberta; Doug; Andrew; Ivan; and Steven; sisters: Olga Cain of Stewiacke; Mary Ladouceur of Calgary; several nieces and nephews.
Four children from his previous marriage, daughter: Nola Livingstone; sons: John, Travis and Kirk Livingstone and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by daughter Margaret in infancy; brothers: Alfred; Lydon; Lyman; Roy; sisters: Georgina; Queenie; and Sheila.
His remains will rest in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation for visitation after 7:00 P.M on Monday, September 30th, 2019.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 2nd at 11:00 A.M from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church with Father Tom MacNeil presiding.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
