Effie Riva Gardiner Cambrin

EUPHEMIA “EFFIE” RIVA CAMBRIN
(1933 – 2019)
Euphemia Chalmers Riva Cambrin, born Euphemia Chalmers Gardiner on February 6, 1933 in Hillcrest Mines, AB to father Richard “Dick” Brown Gardiner and mother Euphemia Chalmers Gardiner (Née: Armitage), passed away on September 17th, 2019 peacefully in Pincher Creek, AB. She is survived by her loving children, Andrea Buckley, Victoria (Clarence) Feller, Harry (Dianne) Riva Cambrin and Richard (Barbara) Riva Cambrin; grandchildren, Reva Buckley, Jerry Buckley, Richard Feller (Leanne), Clancy Feller (Shauna), Andy Feller (Tanya), Johanne Riva Cambrin, Daniel Riva Cambrin (Heather), Amy Kelly (Brian), Cherie Basnett (Robin), Kyla Zitko (Mario), Richelle Bergquist (Greydon); and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Victor and brothers Billy, Andrew and Dickie.
Effie was well liked and respected wherever she went. Her life was tough due to medical challenges, but she loved every minute spent and conversations held with her many family members. She was strong willed and when she said she was tired and ready to move on she did just that in short fashion. Effie (Mom) will be dearly missed, but has moved on to a better place.
A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by Vista Village – The Good Samaritan Society (www.gss.org, or PO Box 1510, Pincher Creek, AB T0K 1W0). Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
