Peacefully at the Glenboro Health Centre on Saturday September 28, 2019, Dorothy Helga Parsonage (nee Anderson) of Baldur MB passed away at the age of 91 years.
Dorothy leaves to mourn her passing children Cherie (Andy) Melvin of Mather, Julie (Mel) Wickens of Pilot Mound, Minnie (Robert) Guilford of Clearwater, Fran (Dan) DeRuyck of Treherne, and Jeff (Kelly-Ann) Parsonage of Baldur, daughter-in-law Jody Parsonage of Baldur, son-in-law Morris DeRuyck of Mariapolis, 26 grandchildren & 40 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Marg (Murray) Young of Dartmouth N.S, in-laws Jack (Lorraine) Parsonage of Winnipeg, Minnie Haggerty of Tsawwassen B.C., Jessie Matchett of Treherne, Joyce Parsonage of Baldur, Doris Parsonage of Brandon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews & extended relatives.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Harry (2016), daughters Sandra DeRuyck & Lily-Anne Gompf, son Harold Parsonage, parents Eirikur & Anna Anderson, brother George Anderson, sister Kristen Larson, brothers-in-law Albert Matchett, Frank Parsonage, Walt Parsonage, Bill Haggerty & Bruce Larsen, sisters-in-law Bernice Anderson & Margaret Parsonage.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held in the Baldur Memorial Hall on Saturday October 5, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. with Sharon Hamilton officiating. A Family interment will take place in the Baldur Cemetery.
