Denise Douglas
1939-2019
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Anne Douglas, née Loiselle, of Athabasca, on September 26, 2019, at the age of 79 years.
Denise will forever remain in the hearts of her loving husband of 59 years, Bill, and their children Lonnie (Gwen), Charlene, Wanda and Graeme (Tammi); her grandchildren Meagan, Kelsi, Gavin and Cailin; her siblings Denis (Denise), Wayne (Maureen), Gordon, Laurel (Leo); and numerous other relatives and friends.
Denise was predeceased by her parents J.D. (Red) and Beryl Loiselle.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Al Platt of the Athabasca Reformed Congregation will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019, at the Athabasca Regional Multiplex.
The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at the Athabasca Hospital for the compassion and care shown to Denise during her time there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Athabasca Reformed Congregation (Music Fund) or Diabetes Canada.
