Obituary of David Willard Boudreau
BOUDREAU, David Willard – West Arichat
It is with broken hearts, that the family has to announce the sudden passing of David Willard Boudreau, of West Arichat that occurred suddenly at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston at the age of 62 years on January 7, 2019. Born in Arichat on April 1,1956, he was the son of the late John Lawrence and Mary Estelle (Boudreau) Boudreau. David was employed as a labourer at Superport Marine Services Ltd. in Port Hawkesbury. He is survived by his wife Mary Denise (Samson) Boudreau, Arichat; sisters, Vivian Short (Gordon), Deltina Boudreau (Ralph) and Lillie Jane Dorey (Michael) all of Arichat; brothers, Luke (Valerie) Cape Auget, Alexander (Suzanne), Arichat; Godchildren Shelley Short and Rhonda Dorey. He is also survived by nieces Cynthia DeCoste (Danny), Mulgrave, Shelley Ann Short (Todd), Arichat, Daniel (Jennifer), Middle Sackville, Adele Bona (Matthew), Louisdale, Claudelle Richard (Wallen), Cape Auguet; nephews Gordie Short (Charmaine), Halifax, Eugene Short (Charlene), Bradley Short, Lawrence Mury (Ashley), Wayne Mury (Bernadette), all of Arichat. Besides David’s parents he was predeceased by his brother Eugene. Cremation has taken place There will be no visitation per request. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, September 18th in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat at 11am with Rev. Michel Exalant. Burial will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery in Arichat to follow. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
