Peacefully at Queensway Carleton Hospital on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019, in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Sarah Theobald, was born in Hackney, London, England on July 29th, 1946. Survived by sons Eoin (Emily), Keith (Janet), Lewis (Kelly) and daughter Hester (Ian); brother to Reginald, Christine and Sylvia. Proud Gramps of 13 grandchildren. David emigrated to Canada in 1976 to work with the Canadian Conservation Institute followed by the Museum of Civilization helping to preserve Canada’s heritage. Former President of Lynwood Soccer Club and life-long England football and Leyton Orient supporter.
The family invites everyone to join them at a ceremony to be held at 2pm on September 17th, 2019 at Pinecrest Cemetery. Immediately following the ceremony, everyone welcome to join a celebration of life at a private residence (location to be announced at the ceremony). Black attire not essential. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent by cheque or brought to the service for ‘The Poppy Fund’ Royal Canadian Legion, Bells Corners Branch 593, 4026 Old Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2R 1H7
