Obituary for
David Mathieu Plante
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 at the age of 34 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Céleste Boyer. He is survived by his 3 year old son Méric, his parents Evelyn and Gérard Plante, his brother Daniel (Kim), his niece Geneviève and his nephew Adriel. David also leaves behind his parents-in-law, Raymond and Colline Boyer, his brother-in-law Justin Boyer (Mélanie) and his 2 nephews Sébastien and Maxime. Our hearts are broken at the loss of this beautiful, gentle and loving man. He was truly loved by all. David loved the outdoors and often took long walks in nature trails with his son and his dog Miko. He was always helpful towards everyone. David thought of others first and helped no matter what inconveniences it may have caused him. David was a lawyer at the Sudbury Legal Clinic for the past seven years. He served as a respected Corporal with the 2nd Irish Regiment. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, September 5th, from 1 to 4 p.m. Casual attire. Those who wish to make a donation in memory of David to his son’s educational fund are asked to write their cheque out to Méric Plante or to Céleste Boyer.
