David J Schultz

1962 – 2019
Suddenly,
but peacefully, David John Schultz of Birds Hill, MB, formerly of Tyndall, MB,
passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB on September 2,
2019.
He
is survived by his wife Elsie of Beausejour, MB and lovingly remembered by his
daughter April Schultz (Steve Joss) of Ste. Anne, MB and his precious
granddaughter Paige Willkie; significant other Kathy Burbank of Birds Hill, MB;
mother Celina Schultz of Tyndall, MB; brothers Ken Schultz and Robert (Karen)
Schultz of Tyndall, MB and James Schultz of Beausejour, MB; as well as numerous
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Bonnie
Helwer in 2008 and his father John in 2015.
Dave
was born in Beausejour, MB on January 16, 1962 and was raised in Tyndall,
MB. He worked for over 40 years in the
construction and paving industry and worked across Manitoba, Ontario, and
Saskatchewan making lasting friendships along the way. When not working, Dave spent his time quadding,
snowmobiling, building remote control airplanes and rebuilding vintage Polaris
snowmobiles.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Swan River and Dauphin Hospitals, HSC and to the medivac crew. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
If friends so desire, donations in Dave’s memory may be made to East Gate Lodge, P.O. Box 1690, 646 James Avenue, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
