Our family is very sad to announce the passing of David (Dave) Durrant.
Dad lost his hard-fought battle with prostate cancer and passed away at the Maple Hill Hospice in Langley on September 20, 2019. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughter Jan (Ray), his grandsons Jeff and Jon (Katie), his great granddaughter Aubrey, brother Michael (Beverley), sister Marilyn, many nieces and nephews and his dear friends. Predeceased by his wife, Carol, parents, George and Leda.
Dad loved to golf and developed many friendships on the links over the years. He will be fondly remembered for always under-exaggerating his age but the jig was up when many friends and family celebrated his 80th surprise birthday party!
Dad, you will be forever missed but never forgotten. You always made us laugh and most importantly feel loved.
Dad will be laid to rest in the family plot in Ontario in the late Spring. Please share a memory and raise a glass in his honour at the 19th hole. His favourite.
