Darla Jean Cornea-Kurtenbach

Darla Jean Cornea-Kurtenbach
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Darla Cornea-Kurtenbach which occurred on September 3, 2019 at the age of 46 years.
Darla was born on May 30, 1973 and joined her family on July 16, 1973 – a very welcome addition and a welcome playmate for big brother David. Darla’s first years were spent on the farm – a life she enjoyed. She loved “helping” Dad, getting dirty, tormenting the cats and playing with the dog. Dressing up and having tea parties were not her thing. She enjoyed the outdoors and was happy doing whatever possible outside. She was excited to start school, to ride on the bus, make new friends and learn things. She always did well in school and enjoyed the time she spent there.
Darla married Tim, the love of her life. Their happiest day by far was when she gave birth to their son, Grayson John. She was a loving, caring Mother and she leaves Grayson with many happy memories to cherish. We lost her far too young but we have precious memories which are ours to treasure.
Darla is lovingly survived by; her husband, Tim Kurtenbach; son, Grayson Cornea-Kurtenbach; mother, Jean Cornea; brother, David (Jodie) Cornea; nieces, Shayla BiJoux and Kaitlyn Cornea; along with many cousins, family and friends. She was predeceased by; her dad, John Cornea.
Funeral Service for Darla will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the Cherished Memories Funeral Chapel, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville. Cremation will follow with interment taking place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon. Arrangements in care of Cherished Memories.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Darla Jean Cornea-Kurtenbach..
