Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
My mom was gold. She was an unique, carefree woman.
She said be the change and she was.
She was a good person with few flaws.
She wanted to make people happy and to feel cared for.
My mom was gold.
-Robert Frost
