HENRY, Cecilia Mary (nee McGrath) – While surrounded by the love of her family, Cecilia passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, September 20th, 2019, two days after celebrating her 85th birthday. Beloved wife of Kenneth Henry for 63 years. Loving and devoted mother of Ken (Anne), Terry (Vivi), Wayne, Karen McLeish (Doug) and Gary. Proud grandmother of Christopher, Kevin (Karina), Shannon (Dave), Ian (Tracy), Nicole, Gretel (Jey) and Doug (Janice). Adoring great-grandmother of Owen, Olivia, Connor and Matteo. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cecilia is predeceased by her parents Christopher and Evelyn (nee LaJoie) McGrath, brothers Christopher and Joseph McGrath and sister Margaret O’Connor. In keeping with Cecilia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cathedral of Saint Peter-in-Chains, 411 Reid Street. Following the Memorial Mass, friends are invited to the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road for a Celebration of Life Reception. There will be a private family interment at Highland Park Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the St Vincent De Paul Society or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
