Rankin, Carol Ann. Peacefully, surrounded by family at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, on Sunday September 22, 2019. Carol (nee Halcrow) Rankin of Townsend, at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) and mother of Mark and Lori King of Simcoe, Todd of Brantford and Tara and Mike Brotz of Simcoe. Loving grandmother of Michael, Tyler, Gregory and Daniel; Julia, Nicholas and Quinn; Bryan and Kirsten, Steven and Hannah, and Jeffrey. Sister of Don and Sue Halcrow of Brighton, and Ken and Sandra Halcrow of Ottawa. Aunt to Todd, Ryan, Chad and Cheri (Steve), Kathie (Chris) and great niece and nephews. Carol was a member of the Women’s Club of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and of the Long Point Bay Yacht Club, Port Dover. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot St. W., Jarvis on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service for Carol will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 65 Talbot St. E., Jarvis on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Following cremation, a family graveside service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations to Parkinson Society, St. Paul’s Anglican Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
