Carl Reimer

REIMER Carl Harvey
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we say goodbye to Carl Harvey Reimer; husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong sports aficionado. Carl was born April 29, 1943 and died at 76 on August 28, 2019 following heart surgery. He entered the OR with the great expectation that curling this winter would be so much easier and fun. Carl lived his whole life in Saskatoon and spent his working life as a pressman in the printing industry. He played fastball all the way to Masters ball, hockey as a young man, and golfed or curled every day he could in his senior years. He coached his kids in baseball, hockey, and softball and was a supportive audience member to the girls’ and Marjorie’s many music performances. Adored by his grandkids, Carl always looked forward to visits to Connecticut and Calgary to see them. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie, his son Sean (Jaime), daughters Barbara and Jane (Rob Smith), grandchildren Cole, Aaron, and Jonathan, older brother Ed, and sister-in-law Audrey. Predeceased by his parents, John and Helena Reimer, brother Eric, sister-in-law Irene, and Marjorie’s parents Frank and Barbara Pavelick. Memorial service to be held at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive Saskatoon), on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1:30pm. Interment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to do so, donations can be made to the RUH Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Arrangements are in care of David Schurr Mourning Glory Funeral Services 306-978-5200.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Carl Reimer..
