BRIGITTE BERNIER
On Thursday August 29, 2019, Brigitte Bernier passed away peacefully at the Black Diamond Hospital. Brigitte was born on February 22, 1949 in Germany and came to Canada with her family at the age of 8 years old. After growing up in Quebec, she moved with her husband to Alberta. Brigitte was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Real, her son Ricky, her brother Volker, and her mother and father, Rosa and Rudy. Her memory will be forever cherished by her sister-in-law, Isabel Gimber; her brother-in-law Yvon Bernier; her many nieces and nephews, her great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as numerous relatives in Quebec, Alberta, California and Germany. Her laughter, sense of humor, and her loyalty will always be remembered by her many friends. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the medical and nursing staff at the Black Diamond Hospital for their wonderful care of Brigitte during her last days. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Snodgrass funeral Home (200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks) on Sunday, September 8th at 2 pm.
