It is with great sadness that the family of Rebecca “Becky” Rachel Tanasichuk announces her passing that occurred on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital. Born 1940 in Coal Branch, NB she was the daughter of the late Noble and Gladys (Fairweather) Beers.
Becky enjoyed gardening, playing bingo as an active member of acamac bingo club. She was a very active member in her community and would always lend a helping hand to others. She was an amazing mother that loved her children unconditionally and they will miss her deeply.
Becky is survived by her children Edith (Eric), John (Kelly), David, Joe (Cara) and Jake (Rhonda) Tanasichuk; brothers John Beers and Sterling (Laurina) Beers; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends Cindy Keleher and Bobby McKenna and all her fiends at Douglas Ave. Complex.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Thomas, Robert, Bennett and Theodore Beers and a sister Lydia MacRae.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Monday September 30, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. with personal sentiments beginning at 4 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
