Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 26th, 2019 with his loving wife at his side. Barry Barber at the age of 81, beloved husband and best friend of Carol Barber. Proud father of Kathy (James) McNabb and Karen (Howard) Simpson. Much loved grandfather of Ashley Simpson (John Bursey), Jeremy (Janine) McNabb, Jenna (Andrew) Ritchie and great grandfather of Lillian Ritchie and Henry McNabb. Predeceased by his grandson Andrew Simpson. Friends and family will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at 11 o’clock with visitation from 10 o’clock. Memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Educational Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.
