Memorial Donation
Peacefully on August 31, 2019 we lost our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Long time resident of Oakville. Barb had a long and difficult medical history, including a painful bone disease in the jaw. Over the years there were many procedures and operations and finally two types of cancer. She loved to travel to the south and soak up the sun. She also liked mini vacations to the casino in Niagara Falls where she never failed to cheer up the Blackjack table no matter how bad the luck was running. Within her group of girl friends she was the fact checker when they needed to remember some name or date from the good old days. Special thanks to all our friends, family and medical professionals for their support through the hard times including when we lost our son as well as the staff of Ian Anderson House for coming to our rescue at the end. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Friday September 13, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to cancer research or the Ian Anderson House www.ianandersonhouse.com/.
