Obituary of Audrey Mavis Caravan
Deer Lake
March 11, 1943 – September 3, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Audrey Mavis Caravan announce her passing on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Terry, children: Kirk (Sherry), Kent (Wanda), Krista (Geoffrey); grandchildren: Amanda (Lonny), Stephen (Chelsey), Shania (Anthony), Kayla (Dion), Megan (Kyle), Brandon, Emily, Laura, Alexander; great-grandchildren: Kylie, Blake, Olivia, Gabby, Shaye; brother Fraser (Katching), sister Una, Aunt Molly as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Marcella Gilbert, brother Eldon, sister-in-law Dianne and brother-in-law Len.
Special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the special care and kindness shown to Audrey.
Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Dr., Deer Lake on Thursday, September 5th from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be at the Salvation Army Citadel, 20 Church St., Deer Lake on Friday, September 6th at 2 pm, with Majors Jeff and Shannon Howard officiating. Interment will take place following the service at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake.
As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice
