Obituary for
Anastasia Drover (Payne)
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Anastasia Drover announces her passing. Anastasia passed peacefully away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, September 23rd, 2019 at the age of 80 years.
Predeceased by her husband – Cyril Drover (1998); daughter – Clara Drover; grandchildren – Brittany Sullivan, Twila Seymour, Katrina Drake and Matthew Drover; parents – Michael & Bernetta Payne; parents-in-law – Bernard & Alice Drover as well as many other family members.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories is her partner – Ellis Squires; her children – Michael Drover (Lucy), Bernice Seymour (Lorne), Gordon Drover (Deborah), Dorothy Seymour (Michael), Leona Seymour (Gary), Elizabeth Drover, Bruce Drover (Lori), David Drover (Roxanne), Jenny Drover (Stephen) and Nancy Gray (Peter); 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A special thank-you extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of both the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre and the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre for their loving care of our Mom in her final days.
Public Visitation will take place from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 and Thursday, September 26th, 2019 from 10:00AM-10:00PM.
A Rosary Service will take place on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 at 7:00PM. A Wake Service will take place on Thursday, September 26th, 2019 at 7:00PM.
Father Camillus Ekedobe will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL on Friday, September 27th, 2019 at 2:00PM.
Interment will take place from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Round, NL on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at 5:30PM.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Anastasia’s memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL.
