Albert Earl Starkey

The death of Albert Earl Starkey occurred on Wednesday, September 25h at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Coles Island, NB on October 6, 1930 he was the son of the late Earl and Clara (Wiggins) Starkey.
Albert served as a Mechanic with the Corps of Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and later with the Province of New Brunswick.
Albert is survived by his soul mate and best friend Gwen Murphy, his children; Ronald Starkey, Kimberley (Joseph) Gosselin and Cheryl (Gary) Dyke. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Albert is predeceased by his first wife Rose Kabernick, second wife Lillian, step children David and Harold McKinnon, brothers Archie and Leo Starkey, sisters Stella Todd, and Olive Cleveland.
In keeping with Albert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
