Obituary of Minnie Churchill
Minnie Churchill (nee Roberts) passed away in her home after a blessed and beautiful life at 105 years.
She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Gordon and only son Cecil; parents: Joseph and Rebecca Roberts; brothers: William, Abram, Kennith, Joseph and Hughie; sisters: Maude Tilley, Marion Churchill, Effie Roberts and Edna White.
Leaving to celebrate her life with fond and loving memories are her grandsons: Edward (Leslie), Junior (Tanya); granddaughter, Barbara Churchill; daughter-in-law, Elsie Churchill; great-granddaughters: Hannah Russell, Kaylee Churchill and great-grandson, Jayden Churchill. She also leaves her brothers: Enos and Clifford Roberts; sister, Hettie Rice.
Pastor Geoff Ryan will conduct the funeral service at Windsor Pentecostal Church at Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 with interment at Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery.
At such a beautiful age, Minnie was blessed with many friends and extended family. Special thanks to the many people who took time to visit with her and fill her days with kindness and hospitality.
Although it is hard to thank everyone in detail for their kindness, there are a few special people who made weekly visits to her house, making her feel loved and comfortable, sharing laughter and stories. You may never truly know how very special the time you spent with her was. Thank you to Shirley Hennebury, Linda Ellis, Mary Murray, Mary Froude, Joy Hobbs, Marion Bailey, Sherry Loder and Ray Noble.
