Glee Shapiro
Peacefully, on Wednesday September 4, 2019 at the age of 94. Daughter of the late Fred Fairmont and Agnes Leona Jessee. Dear sister of Fred Jessee and the late Wilse Jessee. Aunt to Don Jessee, Susan Hyde, David Jessee, Rob Jessee, Wayne Jessee, Lynn Jessee, Kim Jessee, Glee Ann Lauzier, Jane Shapiro, Steven Shapiro, Patricia Shapiro and Great Aunt to Emily Shapiro. Loving wife of the late Colonel Benjamin Shapiro (Member of the Order of Canada). Glee was bright and cheerful, enriching the lives of the residents at the Hillel Lodge. The family extends is heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Hillel Lodge and to her special friend Michaela Green.
Friends are invited to a Graveside Service at the Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street on Sunday September 8, 2019 at 1pm. Reception to be held following the Graveside Service at Hillel Lodge, 10 Nadolny Sachs Private.
Donations to the Hillel Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
