It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Arthur Lindsay on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert, SK. John is survived by his loving wife Amy Brown and their children, grandchildren and great-grand children: Darryl Lindsay (Cindy) his children Brendan Falconer, Jennifer Laewetz (Bryce) Summyr, Remmington; Janice Mathieu (Randy) their children Chantel Mathieu (Brent) Heidi, Alesha Rabbitskin (Rod) Josh, Dreydan, Riley Mathieu (Melissa) Sean; Derek Lindsay Brown (Stephanie) his children Levi, Sofia; his stepchildren Donna, Glenn, Darlene, Lana, as well as numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; brother Richard Lindsay (Sharon); brothers-in-law Irwin Hennie (Bella), Carl Hennie (Peggy); sisters-in-law Rose Hewison, Christine Clark, and Elsie Hennie (Andy Olsen).
John was predeceased by his parents John and Ellen Lindsay; parents-in-law Carl and Emily Hennie; stepdaughter Debbie DeWinter; siblings William, Doris, Jean, Donald, Ester and Mariam; brothers-in-law Wilson Henderson, Merle Hewison and John Clark.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m .at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress presiding. Interment will follow at the South Hill Cemetery.
