Memorial Donation
“August 31st, 2019 will never be the same. This is the day the world lost a wonderful man.
Colin will always be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, generous, selfless man, who loved his family and was always willing to help anyone in need.
At 21, he met the love of his life and they settled in Cold Brook where they spent 46 wonderful years together. Cold Brook was always his home, but also supported his livelihood. He was an extremely hard working man who didn’t stop until his cancer consumed him. He will be forever missed by all left behind, but we are all happy he will be reunited with his soulmate. “
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Colin’s son, Don (Barb) of Cold Brook, daughter, Karen (Robert) Critchley of Edmonton, AB; four brothers: Frank (Vivian), Henry (Selena), Ralph (Josephine), Dennis (Eleanor) all of Cold Brook; five sisters: Evelyn Russell, Rita Blanchard, Genny Blanchard, Patsy(Jerry) MacNeil, Joan (Pius) Tobin all of Cold Brook; two grandchildren: Cody (Ariana) White, Samantha Critchley, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Colin was predeceased by his parents, Thaddeus and Margaret White, wife Lillian, sister Mary.
As per Colin’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville, on Monday, September 2nd, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 3rd from St. Stephen’s Parish at 10 am with interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
