Kevin John Fowler of Brigus, most recently residing in North River, passed peacefully away with family at his side on September 28, 2019n at the age of 80 years.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Madeline Fowler, his father-in-law Harold O’ Brien, his mother in-law Charlotte O’Brien, and his sister-in-law, Valda Cashin.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Dorothy, their son , Kevin Matthew Fowler (Jessica) and grandson Kevin Paul Fowler: his sons Tim Fowler (grandchildren Stephanie and Danielle); Duane Fowler (Rochelle); grandchildren Angela and Nathan); and his daughter Madelle Ford (grandchildren Grant and Timothy), Also left to mourn are his brothers Gary, Tom, and sister Yvette Reidy. The large loving family he married into includes Pat O’Brien (Cheryl); Ron O’Brien (Judy); Rich Cashin, Catherine Mclntyre (Pete); Dave O’Brien (Debbie); Albert O’Brien (Janice); Larry O’Brien (Kim); and Joan Letto (Doug).
Kevin was a successful businessman and real estate agent in St. John’s for several decades. He was an active and enthusiastic musician and loved salmon fishing in River Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to the Knights of Columbus, South River Branch.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
Funeral mass will take place at Broughton’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 10 A.M.
Cremation to follow.
