Obituary of Brian Stanley Green
GREEN, Brian – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather and friend. Brian was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew him, always fun loving and cheerful. He touched the lives of many people in big and small ways. He will be greatly missed by Sylvia, his wife of 51 happy years, his children Brad, Janet (Jon), Geoff (Lisa) and adored grandchildren Keefer, Cora, Hunter, Syler, Riddian and Athena. Brian was born in Hamilton and worked as an Electrician for 13 years at Stelco and 27 years at G.M. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital , especially Elizabeth , who were so kind and caring to him during his stay. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street , St. Catharines on Monday, September 30th from 11a.m. -1p.m. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will follow at 1p.m. on Monday in the funeral home chapel. A Private Family Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Burlington . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Arthritis Association would be appreciated.
