Obituary of Joan Mary Clancy
CLANCY, Joan Mary (nee Veasey)
Passed away at Extendicare Peterborough, on Thursday September 26th, 2019, at the age of 99. Joan is predeceased by her husband Edward Joseph Clancy. Survived by her loving daughters Joanne Staples (Eric), and Susan Clancy (Julie); Grandchildren Cindy O’Brien (Barry), and Lisa Staples; Great-Grandchildren Christian, Billie, Brenden and Tyler; and Great-Great Grandchildren Jacob and Hazel. Predeceased by her brother John Veasey (Vera) and her parents Reginald and Rosemary Veasey of England. Joan was an avid reader, and artist. She had a great appreciation for classical and opera music. Many thanks to the staff at Extendicare Peterborough and special thanks to Linda White for her compassion and companionship. A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 1st, 2019 from 1:00- 3:00 PM at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME (840 Armour Road, Peterborough.)
