Elida A. Horsman, 92, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at
K.E. Spencer Home.
Born in New Scotland, she was
the daughter of the late Orvil and Gladys (Randall)
Fisher.
Elida was a former employee of
the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and Co-Op Atlantic. She was a member of the
Moncton Gospel Hall and former member of the Gospel Hall Ladies
Missionary Group and Spencer Memorial Home Ladies
Auxiliary.
Elida will be sadly missed by
her daughter, Lois Heath (David) of Sherbrooke, PQ; grandchildren,
Shane (Marion) of Revelstoke, BC and Joel (Jessica) of Calgary, AB;
great grandchildren, Micah, Naomi, Elijah, Nicole, Nathanael and
Elodie; brothers, Wilfred of Moncton and Sterling of Dartmouth, NS; as
well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by her husband, Harold Horsman; sisters, Hazel and
Kaye and brother, Sherman;
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from
7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Elida’s
life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday,
September 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Reception following the service in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be in Elmwood
Cemetery.
In memory of Elida, donations
to Harvest House or Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be
