William Harold “Bill” Burgess
1944-2019
William Harold “Bill” Burgess age 75 of Passekeag
NB passed away Sunday September 22, 2019 at the Saint John Regional
Hospital. Born in Passekeag NB, he was the son of the late Harry and
Helen (MaGee) Burgess. Bill is survived by 4 sisters; Helen
Hinchberger (Doug) of Sarnia ON, Ruth Schmidt (Richard) of Calgary AB,
Kathy Leasa (Gerald) of Sarnia ON and Shirley Richard (Jean-Louis) of
Saint John NB, also 3 brothers; Marvin Burgess (Beverly) of
Bridgewater NS, Jack Burgess (Suzanne) of Stony Plain AB and Mike
Burgess (Cathy) of Upper Coverdale NB, numerous nieces and nephews and
great-nieces and great-nephews. Bill was predeceased by a brother
Raymond Burgess.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral
Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation
will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 12 noon until 1:30
pm followed by a celebration of Bill’s life at 2:00pm in
Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at
Lower Central Norton Baptist Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society, Lower Central Norton Baptist Cemetery or to a charity
of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family
