LANGRIDGE, Richard Neil
1947-2019
Richard passed away at the Providence Care Hospital after a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Rick was the beloved husband of Phyllis for 32 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Heather (Bill), Nicole (Tim) of Bracebridge and Sherry (Owen) of Thornhill and by his adoring grandchildren Evan, Kathleen, John Michael, Aaden and Devon. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Pat (Brian).
In keeping with Rick’s wishes cremation has taken place. Please come visit and celebrate Rick’s life on Friday, October 4th, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm with a memorial service held from 2:15 – 2:30pm at James Reid Funeral Home, Reception and Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd., entering from the rear parking lot doors).
A special thank you to Dr. Merchant, Dr. Dockrill, Dr. Yu, the Palliative Medicine team at KGH and Kidd 6 staff (especially Aimee) as well as Angela, Jessica and Brooke at Providence Care Hospital for their compassionate care.
Donations to the Hospice Kingston Residential Hospice Fund would be kindly appreciated in Rick’s memory.
