Suddenly on Thursday September 18, 2019 at the age of 72 years in Kitchener. Claude was the loving father of Nicole Guenette ( Rob Kieswetter ) of Waterloo, Richelle Akeroyd ( James ) of New Brunswick, and Mark Guenette of London. Dear Grandfather of Patience, Elorah, Morgan, Evan, Kaitlyn and Liam. Former husband of Patricia Guenette ( nee ) Zinkann. Fondly remembered by his sisters Claudette Bartholomew ( Russell ), Susan Bartholomew ( Robert), and Lorraine LaRue. Also sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Moise & Theresa Guenette. The family will receive their friends for visitation from 1-3 pm on Saturday September 21, 2019 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Homes-Waterloo Chapel, 617 King St. N. Waterloo (across from Home Depot). Service in the Chapel will be held at 3 p.m.. Reception to follow in the Wellington Room of the Funeral Home.
