Josephine “Jo” Thompson
1930-2019
The death of Josephine “Jo” Thompson of Minto, NB occurred
Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Hospice Fredericton, NB.
Born in Chipman, NB she was the daughter of the late George and
Elizabeth (McLellan) Fulton.
Survived by a son, Eric (Fran); a daughter, Robyn Thompson (Osama);
brother, Winston Fulton (Judy); several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
In addition to her parents, Jo was predeceased by husband, Freeman
Thompson in 1988; brothers, Vincent and Lesley Fulton; infant brother,
Arthur; sisters, Geraldine Farrell and Beulah Northrup.
Our sincerest thanks for giving so much of yourselves to provide the
care and attention our mother needed. We will always remember your
dedication your wisdom your compassion and grace. Our mother knew she
was in good hands and so did we. We are all so very grateful thank
you, Wendy Northrup, Wanda McVicar and Hospice Fredericton.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting
on Thursday evening 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 2:30PM
Friday, September 20th, 2019 from Trinity United Church. Interment
will take place in Ripples Community. In lieu of flowers, donations
made to Hospice Fredericton or the Ripples Community Cemetery would be
appreciated by the family. A reception to be held at the Church
immediately following the service.
