Keith Clarence Knickle

It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Clarence Knickle, 75 of Northwest, announces his passing on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in East Chester, he was the son of the late Watson and Hazel (Selig) Knickle.
In his earlier years Keith wheeled Salt fish with his dad at Zwickers Outfit & Company, Lunenburg and went on to work at Booth Fisheries and then many years at National Sea Products until his retirement.
Keith enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was a lifelong resident of Northwest who lived at home with his parents and helped on the family strawberry and vegetable farm. An avid hockey fan he cherished his Detroit Red Wings, his Boston trip to enjoy a great game of hockey and in his spare time found great pleasure in a game of cards with family and friends.
In the last three years, Keith was a resident at Ridgewood Assisted Living in Bridgewater which he loved.
Keith was a faithful member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg.
He is survived by his uncle, Robert Knickle, cousins, Pam Knickle (David Naugler), and Ricky Knickle (Michelle) and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana l. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. #3, Lunenburg. A Graveside Committal Service to celebrate Keith’s life will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Lower Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks, Rev. Suk Ho Lee, officiating.
