Death Notice
GOUD, Paul John – Surrounded by his family, Paul John (Pleun Jan) Goud, passed away peacefully at his home in London on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, age 84. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Eva, and his children Andrew (Cathy) Goud, Jeff (Pat) Goud, Susan (the late Dave) Godin, Linda (Derek) Longman, and Stewart (Margaret) Goud. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Heidi, Ben (Michaela), Dan (Jen), Josh, Christine (Matt), Scott, Chris, Tori, Melissa (Joey), Allyse (Cale), and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Levi, Aurora, Aiden, Avery and Samantha. Dear brother of Truus de Graaf (the late Jan), Nel (Geert) de Vries, and the late Sara (Wim) de Bergh and Jan Goud. Also missed by sister-in-law Bep Goud. Brother-in-law of Audrey (the late George) Kleinjan, Arend (Alice) Van Pelt, Sya (Len) Timmermans, Sara (Will) Pennings, Dee (the late Henry) Overduin, Hugo (Gigi) Van Pelt, Henk (Darlene) van Pelt, Thea (the late Henry) Van Dixhoorn, Margaret (Chris) Wood, Lina (Jack) De Kwaadstenient, Floyd (Jacqueline) Van Pelt, and the late Max (Mia) Van Pelt and Ben Van Pelt. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Paul retired in 1995 after a successful 34 year career at 3M Canada. He loved playing golf, fishing, pool, woodworking and especially spending time with his family.
Visitation on Friday, September 13 from 3-6 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The memorial service will be conducted at New St. James Presbyterian Church, 280 Oxford St. E. at Wellington, on Saturday, September 14 at 11 am. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
