Edward Joseph Babine

Babine Edward Joseph, 89 of 100 Cedar Lake Road, passed away on September 6, 2019 at Nakile Home for Special Care, where he and his family feel that he received exceptional care. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on February 5,1930 he was the son of the late Joseph Babine of Mavilette and Emma (Comeau) Babine of Meteghan. In his working years Edward loved to fix cars and worked his entire career as a mechanic. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and spending time working around the house. He was a devoted member of St Ambrose Parish. He will be missed by his Daughters, Karen (Lloyd) Babine-Donnelly, Massachusetts; Linda Babine, Cedar Lake; Son Clifford (Amy), Florida, as well as his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral mass will be held Friday September 27 ,2019 at 10 A.M. from St Ambrose Cathedral with Father Henry Smolanarrs officiating. Gathering in the Jubilee Room to follow the Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Edwards memory may be made to the Lodge that Gives or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer help fund.
