1949-2019
Diane Lucille Martin – age 69, of Cambridge passed away on
Monday, September 9, 2019 in the Wolfville Nursing Home. Born in
Windsor on September 26, 1949, she was a daughter of Eleanor (Hebb)
Redden, Windsor and the late Ernest Redden. Diane spent 37 years
nursing and had been employed at Evergreen Home for Special Care
(Palmeter’s Rest Home) where she retired due to ill health.
She had a keen interest in gardening, knitting and animals. She is
survived by her husband, Maynard, Cambridge; two sons, Marty Lloyd,
Waterville; Glen Lloyd, Cambridge; granddaughter, Molly; three
step-sons, Terry (Wendy) Martin, Kentville; Tony (Meghan) Martin,
Westin; Jeff Martin, Kentville; two brothers, Ted (Elaine), Brooklyn;
Darrell (Ruby), Windsor; nieces and nephews. In addition to her father
she was predeceased by a brother, Wayne. Cremation has taken place and
there will be no visitation, by request. A private
family graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday,
September 13, 2019 in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County.
Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA – Kings County.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
