Obituary for William Sutherland
“John”
Passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on August 16, 2019 at the young age of 72. Son of the late John and Jane Sutherland of Bishop’s Falls, Newfoundland. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Jesso) of 49 years. Loving father of Donna Sutherland, Paula Brouwer (nee Sutherland) and Darren Sutherland. Treasured Poppy of Kyle, Delilah, Lucas, Douglas and Damian. Brother of Peg, Dan (Blanche), Harold, Linda (Gerald), Gary, Glenda (Paul) and Victor. He will be sadly missed by the Jesso family as well as many nieces and nephews. John retired from Metro after 46 years of dedicated service. He was very proud to be a 6th degree black belt. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation.
