Obituary for
Thérèse Legacy Thériault (Roy)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Roger Legacy and the late Marcel Thériault. Cherished mother of Bob Legacy (Lynn), Lise Grenon (Butch), Moe Legacy. Step Mother of Carole Guillemette and Marc Thériault. Adored grandmother of Julie, Charlene (Verne), Ken, April (Paul), Amanda (Dave), Briana (Jae), Kirsten and Danny (Astra). Dear great grandmother of Dustin, Katrina, Jaydon, Morgan, Evan, Abby, Ariel, Addison, Jackson, Logan, Grayson, Quinn, Ava, Paul, Gabriel, Josh, Danika, Nathan and Émélie. Sister of Louise, Claude and Raymond. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews especially her Goddaughter Kathleen whom she loved very much. Thérèse is predeceased by her daughter Diane, step daughter Ginette, parents Lucien and Cecile Roy and her siblings Johnny, Armand, Moe, Lucy and Giselle. Also left to mourn is long time friend Marlene Godin who was also babysitter to her kids growing up.
The family would like to thank Linda from the Red Cross, Meals on Wheels and the staff at TDH for the care and compassion mom received.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Father Richard Ngoy officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 11am to 12:45pm on Wednesday, August 21st at the
