1927-2019
It is with deep sadness that the family of Theresa Madeline Brennan
announces her passing on August 26, 2019 in her ninety second year.
Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband Eugene in 1999.
She was born and raised in Johnville, NB and taught school for a brief
period in Killoween. Following her marriage, she lived the remainder
of her life in Bath and as a wife and mother, provided endless
support, guidance and laughter. Theresa loved and was much loved in
her community and beyond. Her profound faith was always at the centre
of her life. She was grateful for all of her blessings.
Theresa was the beloved mother to nine children – Tom (Bridget), Terry
(Ann), Cathy (Ken), Marcia, Mike (Liz), Matt (Cathy), Andrea (Monty),
Joanne (Allison), Jim (Barb). She leaves behind her sister Marion,
brothers Louis (Dot), Harold, Paul, Frank (Fran). She also was
predeceased by her parents, Albert and Annie Boyd, siblings, Emmett
and Geraldine.
She enjoyed special relationships with each of her twenty eight
grandchildren – Sean, Mary, Megan, Matt, Kathleen, Pat, Mike, Tim,
Chris, An, Ryan, Louise, Andrew, Hannah, Colin, Alex, Haley, Luke,
Natalie, Colin, Madeline, Katherine, Meaghan, Thomas, Emma, Jake,
Maggie, Abby – all of whom loved visiting their Nanna at the
“big green house”. She also became a proud great
grandmother to eighteen, all a source of delight.
Resting at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Road,
Florenceville – Bristol with visitation on Thursday, August 29th from
2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
Friday, August 30th at 11 am at St John the Evangelist Church,
Johnville with Fr. Bill Brennan as celebrant. Internment to follow in
the Johnville Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Johnville Cemetery Fund or to a charity
