Stuart M. DeMerchant
1921-2019
Stuart Melvin DeMerchant of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully
at his home on August 12, 2019.
Stuart was born in South Tilley, NB, on September 17, 1921. He was the
son of the late Perry and Priscilla (Downey) DeMerchant. Stuart leaves
behind his wife of almost 76 years, Roberta DeMerchant (Campbell); his
daughters, Lois Buckingham (Laurel) of Moncton, NB, Barbara Lockhart
(Eugene) of Woodstock, NB, Judith Dixon (Nathan) of Carlingford, NB;
his son, Donald DeMerchant (Jayne) of Rothesay, NB; 12 grandchildren,
16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stuart was predeceased by his parents; his daughters, Patricia
Millbury and Cheryl Estey; his sister, Marguerite Johnston; his
brothers, George, Bernard, Jack, Leo, and Stephen DeMerchant.
Resting at the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church with visitation on
Wednesday from 12-1:30 pm with funeral service to follow at 2 pm from
the church. Rev. Reg Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in
Larlee Creek Cemetery.

Church would be appreciated by the family.
