Raymond Harold Clifford Bouchard Saturday March 16th 2019

Raymond Harold Clifford Bouchard of Blind River passed away peacefully on March 16, 2019, in his 88th year. Dad was predeceased by our mom Shirley, his loving wife of 66 years, as well as his brothers Richard (Laura) and James (Laurette). He will be sadly missed by his brother Larry (Theresa) and sister-in-law Audrey McGaughy (late James), as well as his sons Bob (Brenda), Gary (Brenda), Hal (Elizabeth) and Craig (late Noella). Dad will also be greatly missed by his seven grandchildren: Miranda (Matt), Jessica (Drew), Nicholas (Cassie), Sarah (Jeff), C.J. (Jessica), Matthew (Tiffany) and Michelle, and his two great grandchildren, Ellie and Paisley.
Dad made our mom’s life and our childhood wonderful. He was an inspiration to us. He was guided by a fine moral compass and his strong faith. He and Mom were the most generous and compassionate people we ever knew. They were a team. We were blessed.
Meeting dad was to become his friend, and everyone could count on his unconditional support. People loved to work with dad because of his knowledge, his skills, and mostly his kindness.
A family gathering at the gravesite is being planned.
We would like to send heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Golden Birches Terrace in Blind River. They are extraordinary people providing extraordinary care.
Should you wish to honour our dad’s memory, please donate to the Golden Birches Terrace in Blind River, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or a charity of your choice.
