Peacefully, at home, on Sunday, August 19, 2019, after a long and full life at the age of ninety-one. Beloved husband of Winnie Brown for sixty-seven years. Loving father and father-in-law of Rochelle and the late Michael Bick, Marcie and Michael Beigleman, Debra Margles and Pino Forgione. Cherished grandfather of Sam Bick and fiancée Miatta Gorvie, and Noah Bick; Elyse and David Rapps, Derek Beigleman and Debra Langleben; David Margles Mitchell, Emma and Jake Margles-Forgione. Proud great-grandfather of Saidie and Gabriel Rapps. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sidney and the late Merle, Roslyn and the late Max Margles. Dear brother-in-law of Margie Perlman, and predeceased by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lorne Perlman, Edna and Robert Koren, Sophie and Jim Partington, Ethel and Archie Munson, Dorothy and Jack Pelzman. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Iny, nurse Sandra and the entire staff of Place Kensington for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Phillip’s caregivers, Susan, Michelle, Frank and Maria. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, August 20 at 2:00 p.m. Shiva at his daughter Debra’s home, ending Friday afternoon, August 23.
