It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ingrid Muenkel (née Flindt) who peacefully passed away with her loved ones at her side at the West Island Palliative Care Residence in Pointe-Claire on August 5, 2019.
Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Horst Muenkel, she will be dearly missed by her son Christian (Kristina), her grandchildren Nathan and Thomas as well as other family members and friends.
Ingrid will always be remembered for her complete dedication to her family and for being the most incredible wife, mother and grandmother with amazing determination. Her unconditional love and care for us and our world, ensured that our family would never go without. We will love and cherish our Omi in our hearts and minds forever. She will be with us forever.
Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence who truly made her last days as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
A private family gathering will be held on a later date. Donations to West Island Palliative Care Residence can be made in her honour.
