Obituary of Michel Limoges
Limoges, Michel
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Michel Limoges, 83, son of Jacques and Yvette Limoges (deceased), brother of Mireille Goddard (deceased), Yvan Limoges (deceased), and grandfather of Chloe Johnston (deceased). He is survived by his wife Lucille, daughters Manon, Marie-Claire (Stacey Schebel), Louise (Douglas Johnston), grandchildren Kyra, Nicole, and Damon, and his brother Serge. Michel moved his family to Kingston in 1982 to work as a metallurgical engineer for Alcan. In his retirement, he continued to be very involved in Kingston’s francophone community, including his parish St. Francois d’Assise. Michel was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Sincere gratitude to his excellent caregivers from KGH, St. Elizabeth’s, VON, and Helen Henderson Care Centre. Visitation will take place at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd) on Friday, August 9 from 2 -4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Francois d’Assise Church (512 Frontenac St.) on Saturday, August 10 at 12:00 pm. A reception to follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. Private family interment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or U.H.K.F. (NICU KGH) would be appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Michel
