Michael “Bruce” Lumsden
of Arthur passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Monday July 29th, 2019 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 60 years to his loving wife Frances (Frankie) Lumsden. Dear father of Sharon and Bob, Cathy and Jay, Linda and Steve and Mike and Tina.
Cherished Papa of Krista, Becky, Brandon, Colin, Amber, Tye, Heather, Brittany, Taylor, Chris, Brad and Preston. Great Papa of Owen, Evan, Mason, Sophie, Addison, Peyton, Alexis, Paula and Curtis.
Dear brother to Robert and Ethel, brother-in-law to Graham and Donna, Judy, Moe. Fondly remembered by his family, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Doris.
Bruce was a proud past president at the Orangeville Legion Branch 233 and a life member.
To honor Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of life will take place.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener as well as Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Nurse Paulette from Groves Memorial Hospital for her extra TLC with our family and Bruce in his last days.

My deepest sympathies to the Lumsden family on the passing of Bruce.
I remember Bruce as a proud family man with unconditional love and support for his family.
His laughter was contagious. It always brought a smile to my face when he would have a good laugh over some funny memory or story. I will always remember him this way.
