Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Merylin Margaret (nee Michie), of Burford, in her 84th year. Beloved Wife of the late Robert Craft (2012). Loving Mom of Rob (Rhonda), Suzie (Burk Mellin). Cherished Nan of Paul (Lisa), Ryan (Megan), Christian (Janna), Damian (Billy) and Great-Nan of Gavin, Grace, Kamrie, Weston, Teagan, Maddie, Rowan. Merylin is predeceased by her brothers James, George and sister Lorraine Waddell.
Merylin was a proud graduate of the Brantford General Hospital School of Nursing – Class of ’57.
Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday August 23, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service to be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery, Burford. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Merylin’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the Burford United Church Memorial Fund.
