On August 1, 2019, Mary Polikretis Zannis passed away peacefully at home. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Paul Harold Zannis (2007), as well as her son Milton (2002) and daughter Irene (2011). She leaves to mourn her daughter Antonia (Toni), as well as her sisters Demetria (late Athanasios Patsalis) and Helen (late Michel LaRue). She was predeceased by her brothers Peter, Mano and Del and sisters Katherine and Keriaki (Kiki). Mary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters in law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, as well as her beloved pug, Koukla. Mary will be remembered for many things, including her strength of character, her cooking, her baking and her knitting. Family will receive condolences on August 5 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm and August 6 from 1pm to 2pm at the Mount Royal funeral complex, 1297 chemin de la Foret, Outremont, QC H2V 2P9 514-279-6540. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice, an act of kindness to someone in need or spending a few moments reminiscing about good times with Mary would be appreciated. Antonia wishes to extend thanks to Sara and Dr. Wong from CLSC Lac St Louis, as well as the team of Karine and Marie Michelle from Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital. Your kindness will be forever appreciated.
